The state of education in Neglasari Subdistrict still faces a number of limitations compared to other areas in Tangerang City. Unlike typical “Inspiration Class” activities, which select target schools based on administrative criteria, this community service initiative uses tiered regional mapping and Dapodik analysis to identify target zones and schools in a systematic manner, before confirming them through field observations. The objective of this initiative is to boost students’ motivation to learn and broaden their career horizons through the “Inspiration Class” program, in which professional volunteers share their stories and work experiences directly in the classroom for one day. The program targets 192 students in grades 4, 5, and 6 at Telagasari Public Elementary School, selected from a total of 21 public elementary schools in Neglasari Tangerang City Subdistrict that were analyzed. The methods used included mapping three “zones of inspiration” and analyzing Dapodik data to screen schools, followed by lectures, discussions, educational games, and success stories shared by the volunteers. Results from observations and interviews showed that students enthusiastically participated in all activity sessions, their motivation to learn increased, and they gained more career aspirations compared to before the activity took place. It is recommended that this program be implemented on an ongoing basis, using a Dapodik-based mapping model that can be replicated to identify target schools for similar as a means of strengthening cooperation among schools, professionals, and the community.
